scMetaLink-package.RdA comprehensive framework for inferring metabolite-mediated cell-cell communication from single-cell transcriptomic data. scMetaLink integrates metabolite production potential via enzyme expression, metabolite sensing capability via receptor and transporter expression, and secretion potential to construct intercellular metabolic communication networks.
